Athens

Athens looks beautiful at night but overall it is a hole… I’m sorry but it is. It smells like shit, it’s dirty, and the men don’t quit.
Other than that the history is amazing and you have to go for that. 1 full day in Athens is ample time.

Accomodation: Soph and Chris Backpackers
This hostel is joined with Athens Style. The building is so gross but the rooms aren’t too bad, the location is prime and you Wouldn’t want to be In any other location.

Things to do:
Ancient Greece: go and see all that Athens has to offer in terms of ancient history. The museums and the ruins are amazing to look at. Don’t walk to the Acropolis to buy your ticket because the line is 2 hours long and you only get to see 2 things. If you buy a ticket from one of the other ruins you pay €30 to see 7 different ruins rather than €20 for 2 and you won’t wait in a line. I really enjoyed exploring Athens with. My friends and we made the city fun.
A for Athens: this is a hotel but there is a beautiful rooftop bar at the top. It’s modern and clean and a change from the rest of Athens. You can see so much of the city from there and you look across and there is just the Acropolis staring at you on the hill. It’s quite expensive but definitely worth it.
