There are too parts to Panama City – one is the usual Central America City which sucks and then there is the new part. Make sure you stay in the new part! I was actually so surprised by how huge Panama City is, there is full on sky scrapers and amazing shopping.
Accommodation: Hostel Villa Vento Surf
A nice enough hostel with aircon, a cool chill area, and a pool. It was in a really nice part of the city as well, I would definitely recommend staying here.
Things to do:
Shop: Panama has incredible shopping and it was cool to have a look around at all the shops and pick up some bargains.
Canal cruise: we didn’t do it and people who did do it said it was really boring. People try and sell you on seeing the famous canal but from what I’ve heard it’s not worth it.
